(CAS, Islamic Republic of Iran Division)

She is a practical mathematics graduate of the Shahid Beheshti University (National University) and creative Artist from Tehran, Iran. In 1993, she completed her studies in music theory and the music of Carl Orff at the Iranian Radio and Television School of Art and then started studying piano until in 2001. Samira has been studying tombak under the tutorship of Mehdi Rahmani, Pezhhaam Akhavas, and the world-renowned master Bahman Rajabi since 2001. In 2005, she started studying tabla under tutorship of Darshan Anand and Masoud Habibi. She has collaborated with Arsalan Kaveh producing and recording his album and is now working with the Rastak Ensemble.
