DESCRIPTION:
Let‘s talk local is a fun and vibrant play in English where you learn all you need to know about the birth of Reykjavík from the time of the vikings until present day. The show is particularly aimed at travellers visiting Iceland but is equally entertaining for Icelanders wanting to revisit their story. This is a one hour comic show with two actors who will give you a great insight into the historical background of Reykjavík. Guests can buy drinks and light refreshments before and during the show.

DESCRIPTION:
Grýla the troll and mother of the 13 Yule Lads invites you to her cave where she tells and shows you all there is to know about icelandic Christmas. You‘ll hear all sorts of funny stories, including tales of the Lads, the huge Christmas cat, Grýla herself, and of course green peas because without green peas, there will be no Christmas!

This is a one hour comedy show in English which gives you a great insight into the strange Icelandic Holiday traditions plus you will be able to taste some of the food essential to Icelandic Christmas. If you‘re visiting Iceland you‘ll find no better way of experiencing the true Christmas spirit than paying a visit to Grýla.

The role of Grýla is played by Ólöf Hugrún Valdimarsdóttir, Lilja Katrín Gunnarsdóttir ,and Sigríður Björk Baldursdóttir.
